Jesse Windrix Honored by the Dallas 100™ Entrepreneur Awards

Jesse Windrix, President of JW Nutritional, LLC, was honored by the Dallas 100™ Entrepreneur Awards on November 4, 2015.

The Dallas 100™ was established 25 years ago to celebrate the top entrepreneurial success stories and honor the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Dallas area. The awards are presented annually by the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at the SMU Cox School of Business. Companies are evaluated based on their legal status, location, sales history, credit report and character.

JW Nutritional is a privately held contract manufacturer specializing in creating and manufacturing private formulas for vitamins, dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, and nutritional supplements. The company offers turnkey product development with formula R&D, ingredient-sourcing, packaging, label design, and product fulfillment. JW Nutritional boasts a complete analytical laboratory and an FDA inspected manufacturing facility fully in compliance with the FDA’s Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs) regulations.  Founded in 2004, JW Nutritional has operated in the Dallas area since 2009, and is headquartered in Allen, Texas.

This year the company has also expanded its operations in neighboring Plano with an additional 65,000 square foot facility dedicated exclusively to protein manufacturing. While JW Nutritional continues to strengthen its operations, another Dallas area nutritional supplement manufacturer, Dymatize Nutrition, a Post Holding, Inc. company, has shuttered its manufacturing division.  “Planning for the new [protein] facility began over a year ago,” Windrix said, referring to the timing of this move.  “Dymatize’s departure left a real void that we are now strategically positioned to capitalize on, but it’s purely a coincidental situation.”
