1 Fix Limited of Berkshire have recently added to their team by taking on two new apprentices.

Local Information Technology company, 1-Fix Limited, have recently taken on 2 new apprentices as their business expands. As the government is encouraging small businesses to bring on apprentices 1-Fix took the opportunity to help two local lads find work by recruiting them and training them in all areas of their IT business.
1-Fix recruited local school leaver Ben Hooper via an IT apprenticeship scheme being offered by QA, the UK’s leading IT training provider, in 2015. Ben is from a gaming background. He enjoys all things computer related and goes on to say, “I was thrilled when 1-Fix offered me the chance to become an apprentice as I see my future involved in computers so this is the perfect chance for me to learn a skill that I am passionate about.”
Paul Novell is slightly older, and having held a couple of temporary jobs he applied for the apprenticeship through a government scheme and was offered a place in the support department at 1-Fix. He comments, “I spent a couple of years after school in dead end jobs with very little future so I jumped at the chance to work with a progressive local company like 1-Fix. I’ve learnt a lot here and really enjoy being part of the team. I get a lot of encouragement here at 1 Fix.”
1-Fix Director, Craig Atkins, has this to say, “We took both Paul and Ben on a couple of months ago because we were expanding so quickly and we’re really pleased with the progress they have both made. In the time they have been with us here at 1-Fix they have passed their Microsoft exams and NVQ modules with flying colours. We’d recommend the apprenticeship scheme to any local businesses looking to bring skills to the local community.”
1-Fix Limited are a growing IT support company based in Finchampstead in Berkshire and offer IT support services to businesses in the local area. They also offer remote support to businesses all over the UK. Their goals for next year are to grow both their client base and their staff by up to 50% while offering more services to their existing clients.
