DESTIN, Fla. - Dec. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- The 30A Songwriters Festival has become a popular three-day event each year in Northwest Florida over Martin Luther King holiday weekend. January 15th-17th, artists from around the country will come to the beaches of South Walton to perform a wide range of music from country, blues, folk, and soul. The festival will be held at over 25 venues along Scenic Highway 30A as well as Grand Boulevard in Destin, Florida. Confirmed venue partners include Vue on 30A, Pandora’s, Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse, Bud & Alley’s, and many more popular locations. The variety of venues will provide intimate listening rooms as well as spacious outdoor amphitheaters to enjoy every performance.

Jackson Browne will be headlining this year and will perform solo on guitar and piano. Browne was honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2007. Also among this year’s lineup: Grace Potter, Ani DiFranco, Emerson Hart of Tonic, Kristian Bush of Sugarland, Shawn Mullins, and a long list of talented songwriters to perform over the weekend.

Weekend passes are available to purchase in advance with full access to all shows from Grand Boulevard to 30A. Exclusive VIP access provides free food and drinks at the VIP tent and four-course dinners on Saturday and Sunday at Watersound Beach Club. 30A and Destin condo rentals are available to take advantage of the full festival line-up.

Jennifer Steele, Co-Producer and Executive Director of the CAA, says, “All of the South Walton community embraces and supports the event financially as volunteers, as participating musicians, or as attendees. And as the thousands of fans who travel here in January attest, music lovers across the country are fully on board.”

The 30A Songwriters Festival is co-produced by Russell Carter Artist Management and the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA), and is presented by Visit South Walton and Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the CAA and help it to fulfill its mission to support the arts throughout Walton County.
