The Children's Place Inc. (Nasdaq: PLCE) reported higher third quarter earnings that topped analyst estimates of $1.90 per share compared with $1.71 per share in the year ago period. Shares of children's specialty apparel retailer leaped $6.12 to close at $54.88.
