Buybacks, mergers to fuel $450 billion worth of stock demand in 2016

Armed with flush funds and healthy earnings growth, U.S. corporations are expected to continue buying back shares and pursuing mergers at a fast clip in 2016, generating nearly a half trillion dollar worth of demand for stocks.
