American Express Company (AXP) , with a current value of $53.72B, started trading this morning at $55.18. Looking at today’s trading action, the company’s one day range from $55.08 to $55.74 with the price of the stock fluctuating between $54.14 to $86.18 over the last 52 weeks. Priced at 10.25x this year’s forecasted earnings, AXP shares are relatively inexpensive compared to the industry ’s 13.94x forward p/e ratio.
