Carlisle’s American Spirit Nears Completion of Atlantic Challenge After Amazing Comeback

Carlisle Companies Incorporated’s (NYSE:CSL) American Spirit is nearing the finish line in the Talisker Atlantic Challenge, after an amazing display of perseverance and determination. The race began from the Canary Islands, off the coast of Africa on December 20, 2015 and will end 3,000 nautical miles away across the Atlantic Ocean in Antigua in the Caribbean. Skipper Jason Caldwell and Crew Member Tom Magrov continued the challenge after losing two crew members for medical reasons one week into the race. Exemplifying courage and determination, Jason and Tom are on the verge of completing an amazing comeback and are expected to bring Carlisle’s American Spirit to the finish in Antigua Tuesday or Wednesday, February 9-10.
