In January 2016, Ott Consulting Inc. (OCI) was appointed as the Township Engineer in Upper Mount Bethel Township, Northampton County, PA. The addition of Upper Mount Bethel Township brings our municipal client list to a total number of ten.

Upper Mount Bethel Township is located in the Slate Belt region of Northampton County. It has a total area of 44.3 square miles with approximately 100 miles of roads. The township has an estimated population of 6,823 and is served by the Bangor Area School District. Over 50% of the township is rural, agriculture and undeveloped. A large part of the undeveloped areas include recreational sites such as Minsi Lake Park and the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Approximately 20% is residential and the remaining land use includes industrial, commercial and institutional uses.
