Float Brothers Float Spa Opens in Destin, Florida with Popular Float Therapy Services.
DESTIN, Fla. - March 9, 2016 - PRLog -- Brothers Chris & Trey Hearn hail from North Carolina and recently opened Float Brothers Float Spa in Destin. First of its kind on the Emerald Coast, the float spa offers a unique type of therapy that’s non-invasive but healing and relaxing.  Each session includes a 9 feet long x 5 feet wide private pod with warm epsom salt water offering perfect tranquility. “Float therapy offers people an alternative way to find peace and serenity, and it’s been proven to help many mental and physical ailments,” says Trey.

The Hearn brothers have both served in the Air Force and were stationed together at Eglin AFB. They have found the floating experience a relief from PTSD and want to help military and veterans. The distraction-free environment is great for people with anxiety or mental health issues to aid in overcoming these. They have also created a program to allow military or veteran PTSD sufferers to float for free at select times. “People float to relieve stress, recover from injuries, ease chronic pain, and relieve anxiety and depression,” says Chris. “It naturally increases your dopamine and endorphin levels, boosting your mood and leaving you with a pleasant afterglow that lasts for days afterwards. Everything you experience while you’re floating comes from within you – from your thoughts and emotions. It’s the perfect time to reflect on your life and any kind of goals that you might have for yourself and your own personal relationships.”

While float therapy is not a new concept, it has become widely more popular over the past few years with new innovations in float tank/pod/room technology and proof of its benefits. The beaches along the Emerald Coast and 30-A can provide a relaxing atmosphere but float spa therapy is here and gaining popularity. Float Brothers Spa is located in the Plantation Commons Shopping Center next to Marshall’s and HomeGoods. The spa is open seven days a week for 60 or 90 minute floats with memberships available.
