NEEDHAM, Mass. - March 21, 2016 - PRLog -- Direct Federal Credit Union has named Amy Horan Corda of Wellesley, MA to the position of Vice President of Lending.
As part of Direct Federal's Senior Leadership Team, Corda's responsibilities will include loan originations and underwriting, and helping build the credit union's business lending program. She has worked in the banking and lending industry since 1985 and has experience in both residential and commercial lending. Prior to joining Direct Federal, she was a Senior Vice President of Lending at Cambridge Savings Bank where her responsibilities included overseeing all aspects of loan origination, processing, operations and servicing. Previous to her tenure at Cambridge Savings Bank, she was Senior Vice President of Lending at The Village Bank, Newton, MA, where her responsibilities also included both residential and commercial lending.
A graduate of Boston College, Corda holds a real estate salesperson's license, and has completed a commercial lending course at Babson College.
Corda enjoys taking an active role in the community and volunteering for fund-raising events in support of research to cure ALS through Project MinE, and Diabetes through JDRF. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, travel, concerts and spending time with her friends and family.
