Finegold Alexander Architects’ Regan Shields Ives Elected to Boston Preservation Alliance Board of Directors

Regan Shields Ives, Senior Associate at Finegold Alexander Architects, was elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Boston Preservation Alliance at their Annual Meeting on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. The decision recognizes Shields Ives’ leadership, dedication, and contributions to preservation through her professional work and advocacy as a member of the Boston Preservation Alliance over the past 3 years.

In her new role on the Board of Directors, she will serve as an ambassador continuing the legacy of advocacy and education as the Alliance moves into the future. Previously, Regan served on the Boston Preservation Alliance Young Advisors Board where she was Secretary during her final year.

“The Boston Preservation Alliance has had a long-standing influence on the City and surrounding areas in helping us all to remember, honor, and preserve architecture of the past, while keeping a discerning eye out for the future development of Boston. I am honored to be named to the Board of Directors,” said Shields Ives.

With over 15 years of professional experience, Shields Ives is a studio leader at Finegold Alexander Architects for educational and cultural projects. Her work has been recognized with awards and has contributed to the preservation of buildings and environments locally and nationally.
