BOYDTON, Va. - May 3, 2016 - PRLog -- On May 3, 2016, Humanity Road will join nonprofit organizations and community foundations across the country for Give Local America - a 24-hour nationwide crowdfunding event that promotes local communities to invest in and celebrates the work of local nonprofit organizations.

In 2015, through a partnership with over 9,000 local nonprofits, Give Local America raised more than $68 million for local communities. In 2016, Give Local America hopes to engage even more nonprofit organizations and expand its fundraising efforts to reach $100 million in donations.
This year, Humanity Road has launched a new way to give. Through text-to-donate, folks can donate from their mobile phone this year. You can text the word "HUMANITY" to 41444 to make a pledge to support us.
