"iFind": A Transmitting and Receiving System Specially Designed for Exterior Eyewear

I don’t know where I left them!”  Prescription eyewear is costly and the need to replace eyeglasses is mandatory for one’s vision.  The iFind is a transmitting and receiving system specially designed for exterior eyewear. iFind works for prescription glasses, reading glasses and sunglasses, all with an efficient, electronic means of locating these items when misplaced. A small key chain remote or a cell phone application using Bluetooth® technology serves as the transmitter unit for iFind.
 
iFind has been designed to slip directly onto the ear rests or stems of the glasses and is offered in a variety of colors to match eyewear or to appeal to individual tastes. iFind is powered by a rechargeable battery encased in a durable plastic housing. The transmitting portion of iFind can also be con figured as a smartphone application allowing for instant accessibility via one’s own cellular phone. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in iFind.
 
The Patent Pending iFind was invented by Luz Ramirez of Rocky Point, NY who said, “iFind offers a method to immediately locate misplaced glasses. It is easy to operate emitting a clear loud sound that can be heard anywhere in the home and also has a small LED light that flashes a beacon.
