Labor secretary helps Verizon, unions return to bargaining table

Allen Cone WASHINGTON, May 16 (UPI) -- Verizon Communications and its striking unions have agreed to return to the bargaining table Tuesday after meeting with U.S. Secretary of Labor Thomas Perez.
