Loren Marozas Has Been Recognized Among the Top in His Industry by the Expert Network©

​Loren Marozas​, Insurance Sales Director & Company Field Trainer, William Raveis​, has joined The Expert Network, an invitation only service for distinguished professionals. Mr. Marozas​​ has been chosen as a Distinguished Insurance Agent™ based on peer reviews and ratings, dozens of recognitions, and accomplishments achieved throughout his career.

Mr. Marozas​ outshines others in his field due to his extensive educational background, numerous awards and recognitions, and career longevity. He received his Bachelor's degree in Project Management and Marketing from Baker College. In 2014 and 2015 he was William Raveis #1 Top Producer, in 2014 he was named a Five Star Auto/Home Insurance Professional by CT Magazine, and a Travelers Insurance CT Top Producer by 1st Quarter. In 2013 he was named the Rookie of the Year at William Raveis Insurance, while in 2012 he was Nationwide Insurance's Top Producer in all of New England. In 2007 and 2008 Mr. Marozas received the Hartford Excellence Award in Underwriting for being in the top 5% of underwriters at Nationwide, and the Hartford Excellence Award in Special Services in 2005, as well as the Hartford Excellence Award in Customer Service in 2004. In 2006 he received the Hartford Rising Star Award.

With 14 years dedicated to insurance, Mr. Marozas​​​​​ brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry. When asked what inspired him to go into insurance, Mr. Marozas​ said:

"I started at the Hartford. I was a young kid coming out of retail and I wanted a change so I actually started at their call center, taking up to eighty phone calls a day for the AARP program."

Over the course of the next five years at the Hartford, Mr. Marozas would move into other areas of the business. He honed his skills as an underwriter, handling cases in all fifty states. As his expertise expanded, Mr. Marozas began coaching younger agents at the company.

Mr. Marozas’ success at the Hartford eventually caught the eye of Nationwide Insurance where he was recruited to continue his coaching and management. He eventually transfered into sales and became the company's top producer in all of New England in 2012. Mr. Marozas began working with William Raveis in 2013 where he is now an Insurance Sales Director and Company Field Trainer.

As a thought-leader in his industry, Mr. Marozas pays close attention to prevailing trends in the insurance industry. In particular, he is keeping an eye on changes in flood insurance programs, which are reflected in both FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), as well as in private markets. He noted:

"There have been significant changes to the coastal flood market, and as a result our program is changing every year in order to stay above and beyond in our comparative understanding as flood insurers. Of course, a lot of people want to live near the water, but now they are paying greatly for it, so we have to be up on the current changes for the NFIP but also in the private market, which we have access to as well."

Mr. Marozas is a Sig Sigma Black Belt and an ASI National Advisory Council Member.
