Gold hovers around 3-week highs, pinned to choppy dollar

Gold futures tilted lower Thursday but held near their strongest level in three weeks as the U.S. dollar and Treasury yields weakened on expectations the Federal Reserve will keep U.S. interest rates on hold in the coming months.
