Artist Hallie Hart To Show With Public Factory At The Soho Grand

Influential American painter Hallie Hart displays her abstract expressionist movement in New York City.

NEW YORK, NY, June 13, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Contemporary Artist Hallie Hart and elite co-retailing space Public Factory are teaming up for a month long exhibition of Hart's abstract expressionist paintings inside the store's flagship location at the Soho Grand Hotel. Hart, who is currently represented by the Agora Gallery in Chelsea, will kick off the partnership alongside some of the world's top emerging fashion designers in an opening event on Wednesday June 15, 2016.

Public Factory is a unique space that enables the next generation of consumer brands to have a retail presence in premium high street locations and is a concept that is relatable to an artist like Hart. She is no stranger to working around future up and comers in her studio at the prestigious MANA Contemporary Fine Arts facility in Jersey City; considered to be one of the world's largest private museums, and also serves as a collaborative community bringing together art, dance and music all under one roof.

Last month Greg Willybiro from Public Factory visited Hart in her studio at MANA Contemporary to discuss the upcoming event as a part of top-rated French television program Sept-a-Huit that aired May 8, 2016 on Channel TF1. Willybiro was surprised to learn Hart paints exclusively with her hands using several drip, pour and splatter techniques she has developed over an impressive fifteen-year career.

Hart said of her decision to showcase with Public Factory, "I love surrounding myself with that outside-of-the-box attitude and people that are groundbreaking, making their own rules. That's why I'm extremely excited to be part of a show that will feature my art, and also so many wonderful fashion designers from around the globe. They wouldn't have this kind of opportunity if it weren't for such a cool concept store like Public Factory that truly sees fashion as art."

The Jackson Pollock inspired artist, who has a natural eye for interior design, selected ten paintings to coincide with the decor and fashions of Public Factory. Hart's work will be on display through July 15, 2016 at the Soho location.

About Hallie Hart:

Hallie Hart is an American-born artist raised in New York City. She managed to stay predominantly focused on education during her formative years, graduating with a degree in English Literature from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania and excelling in creative writing. However, something within Hart always felt magnetically drawn to painting with an unprecedented love for abstract expressionism. She took an internship for successful abstract painter, Annaleis Van Dommelen in Holland; this awakened a side of herself she had never felt before. Since then, Hart has found inspiration in her extensive travels across the globe and developing techniques that allow her to use only her hands to channel the methodical chaos of everything she sees happening around her.

This groundbreaking artist's fearlessness with vibrant acrylics on canvas and various other textiles can be found with several corporate and private collectors across Europe, Asia and her home country of the United States. Hart has also shown for her Royal Highness, The Princess of Hanover and was awarded the Jury Select Honors at GemLucArt in 2013. She has truly grown into a diverse and accomplished artist, most recently incorporating aluminum and plexiglass into her newest collection based on the scientific terminology for various lines.

Hart has also been expressing her curious nature by building 20-foot catwalks to get different heights in order to paint from and also reach the centers of her sometime massive paintings. She is currently represented by the Agora Gallery centered right in the heart of the Chelsea art scene. Hart also has residency at the prestigious MANA Contemporary Fine Arts facility in Jersey City, one the world's largest private museums parented by Milk Studios of New York City. The artist continues to show several different sides of herself and seeks knowledge in her surroundings, inspirations of the city and other great artist alive and throughout history.
