‘Independence Day’ looks to recreate magic, but Disney’s ‘Dory’ should still reign

“Independence Day” hit theaters in 1996 and raked in $817.4 million worldwide. Fast forward 20 years and Fox is hoping to rekindle some the magic that made “Independence Day” successful with the release of “Independence Day: Resurgence.”
