Newsweek Names Praxair a Top Green Company

Praxair, Inc. (NYSE:PX), a leading industrial gas company and recognized global leader in sustainable development, has earned a place in the 2016 Newsweek Green Rankings. The Green Rankings assess the overall corporate sustainability and environmental performance of the 500 largest publicly traded companies in the U.S. and the 500 largest publicly traded companies globally.

Praxair ranked first among all industrial gas companies both in the U.S. and globally. The company ranked fifth in the U.S. Chemicals industry and sixth in the worldwide Chemicals industry. Overall, Praxair ranked No. 101 in the U.S. 500 and No. 179 in the Global 500.
