Unexpected Detours: Dow Leaps 285 Points as Brexit Is, Like, So Last Week’s News

Stocks rallied for a second day as investors started to dismiss the worst-case scenario caused by last week's Brexit vote. The S&P 500 rose 1.7% to 2,070.77 today, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 284.96 points, or 1.6%, to 17,694.68. The Nasdaq Composite gained 1.9% to 4,779.25.
