BOSTON - July 8, 2016 - PRLog -- BattleFrog, the Nation's Fastest Growing Obstacle Course Race (OCR) Series is proud to announce their return to the Carter and Stevens Farm in Barre, MA on Saturday, July 23rd, 2016. The event will be headlined by an 8KM course designed by an expert team of obstacle race specialists to take advantage of the unique terrain of the Massachusetts Commonwealth. Along the steep hillsides and rocky ridges of the historic Carter and Stevens Farm, the BattleFrog New England event is built to provide challenges, fun, and engagement for people of all walks, skills, and respective experience levels.

The unique geographical qualities of the Carter and Stevens Farm, featuring ponds, rivulets and hills, are set to provide entrants a one of a kind experience through an array of obstacles throughout water and land. Designed to challenge strength, endurance and motivation, the BattleFrog New England race will feature all the signature running, climbing, swimming, jumping and crawling fans of the military-inspired fitness event are expecting. Designed with 3 levels of difficulty to unite people of all ages regardless of physical condition, every obstacle is capable of being completed as the BattleFrog experience is about working together to overcome each other's own individual goals and ambitions.

Throughout the duration of the event, volunteers and medical staff will be on hand to ensure the safety of all participants and provide assistance as well as motivation for those taking the challenge. "After a great experience in 2015, we feel the upcoming BattleFrog event in New England will certainly raise the bar," said Kevin Jones, Chief Marketing Officer of BattleFrog. "We are a community that shares certain core values of love of country, family, friends, fitness, and character building. No matter the fitness level, BattleFrog is fun for everyone."

The New England BattleFrog event will be held for the second consecutive year at the Carter and Stevens Farm, following up from a successful showing in 2015 that was lauded by both first-time entrants and OCR enthusiasts alike. The courses are designed to pay tribute to the Navy SEALS who continue to bravely serve the people of the United States. Each obstacle is designed to honor the SEAL community, and is subject to feature unexpected and mysterious challenges as an homage to the SEALS' preparation of handling the unknown. Adjacent to the action, the BattleFrog event will also feature an excited American-themed race festival with food, music, entertainment, as well as fitness vendors and health experts willing to offer assistance in lifestyle improvement.

The BattleFrog event will host four options, including the BattleFrog Xtreme (BFX) and BattleFrog Elite 16 KM event, The Signature 8KM race for athletes and families and the 400m Tadpole Dash for children ages 4-to-8. For those wishing to observe the action and offer support, spectator passes for both adults and children are available.
