During the trading session, CMCSA traded between $66.91 to $67.69 with a one year range of $50.00 to $67.69. Priced at 18.96x this year’s forecasted earnings, CMCSA shares are relatively expensive compared to the industry’s 4.78x forward p/e ratio. And for dividend hunters, the company pays shareholders $1.10 per share annually in dividends, yielding 1.77%. In a review of the consensus earnings estimate this quarter, 25 sell-side analysts are looking at $0.82 per share, which would be $0.02 worse than the year-ago quarter and a $0.04 sequential decrease. What we find to be interesting is that the full-year EPS estimate of $3.54 is a $0.30 better when compared to the previous year’s annual results.
