Amazon tops Berkshire Hathaway ahead of Prime Day

Amazon.com Inc. hit a record high Monday, pushing the online retailer’s market cap higher than Berkshire Hathaway and into the top five of all American companies a day ahead of its annual Prime Day promotion.
