Dr. Sara Dovichi Has Been Recognized Among the Top in Her Industry by the Expert Network©

With 15 years dedicated to medicine, Dr. Dovichi​​​​​ brings a wealth of knowledge to her industry and, in particular, to her area of expertise, pediatrics. When asked why she decided to pursue a career in medicine, Dr. Dovichi​​​​ said:

"I didn't always know that I wanted to become a doctor, but I have always felt passionate about working with families and children and being in a role where I could provide something important to families as well as being in a role to educate. At one point I thought I wanted to be a teacher."

Dr. Dovichi currently practices with Fairport Pediatrics, LLP and serves as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center where she enjoys teaching medical students and precepting pediatric residents. She is also affiliated with Strong Memorial Hospital, Highland Hospital, and Rochester General Hospital.

As a thought-leader in her industry, Dr. Dovichi keeps a close watch on prevailing trends in pediatrics in order to provide her patients with the best care available. With rising obesity across the country, even among children, she understands the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle and incorporates counseling on staying fit into her practice. She noted:
