Eco-Responsibility Has Never Been So Beautiful Misahara's Porto Montenegro Boutique Makes a Splash With Debut of LUNG Aquarium

​​​Misahara fine jewelry launched its Porto Montenegro boutique the weekend of June 18th, 2016 with high style and glamorous events befitting the international VIPs who attended the festivities.  A jewel of a destination set in the Adriatic Sea's sparkling, sun washed Bay of Kotor, Porto Montenegro, is not only home to Misahara's new fine jewelry boutique, but also a major UNESCO world heritage site.

Early in the boutique's design process, Misahara made the decision to honor Porto Montenegro's natural beauty and simultaneously create an awareness of the fragility of the Adriatic's ecosystem by calling upon renowned French aquarium company, LUNG. Misahara's choice lies in LUNG's eco-responsible philosophy and its awareness of the importance of coral reefs in our planet's ecosystem. LUNG custom designed and installed the extraordinary, mesmerizing one square meter aquarium, which is not only a form of contemporary and living art, but also the optimal environment for coral growth. The aquarium debuted on July 9th, 2016. Filled with richly colored, delicate coral, the beauty of the aquarium both complements and highlights Misahara's magnificent jewelry. 

"As Porto Montenegro evolves and continues increasing its appeal with the one-of-a-kind superyacht marina, Misahara’s boutique relocation to main street was an obvious choice. Celebrating the Summer with our new boutique was very dear to me, and in this spirit, welcoming the LUNG aquarium exhibition speaks to our brand’s ethos. I am very much inspired by the sea and the unique approach of Stephane Tanacaux and Guillaume Mace's coral live painting is in perfect synergy with Misahara’s journey. With the help of Kathrin Posh, our interior designer, we moved our boutique and kept its original integrity, yet, we now offer a larger space where our guests can experience the brand in a more comfortable setting.", stated Lepa Galeb-Roskopp.  

Adding another level of excitement to the aquarium's debut on July 9th, was the unveiling of Misahara's one-of-a-kind Golden Habitat Ring. The exquisite ring reflects Porto Montenegro's unique natural beauty, shimmering with blue, green and white diamonds, echoing the sparkling waters of the Adriatic.  The bespoke ring with a SRP of $49,000, is on exhibit in Misahara's Porto Montenegro boutique for the Summer of 2016 before moving to Misahara's New York boutique in the Fall.
