China Commodity Exchange Releases Charity Granting Guidelines to Non-Profit Organizations

Clients can ensure their favourite causes that they will support in 2016 by recommending grants in a timely, appropriate, and effective way

Beijing, China - July 20, 2016 - (Newswire.com)

China Commodity Exchange, an exchange that operates diverse markets which spans futures and options on interest rates, commodities, indexes and FX, as well as commodities and equity options, today announced in a charity report that it is easy to recommend a grant from your philanthropic account.

CHCEX Charitable will use its best efforts to review and issue grants received after December 31 in 2016, but cannot guarantee that any grant submitted after this date will be sent to the recipient charity this calendar year. This is due to significant granting activity and reduced availability of recipient charity representatives to answer questions at year-end. To increase the probability that a grant will be issued in 2016, please recommend the grant in good order as soon as possible.

CHCEX Charitable requires a different review and approval process depending on the type of organization. Some organization types require extra documentation to be completed by you or the charity in order to be approved. In these instances, strong communication between the charity, our team at CHCEX Charitable, and you is paramount.

The stated time frames required to process grants for each organization may vary depending on volumes and time of year.

You have the option to recommend a purpose for the grant funds. At year-end, for simplicity, we suggest recommending unrestricted grants to charity, by selecting general operating expenses for the grant purpose. Not only will a general operating expenses purpose allow for a faster review process, it also permits your favourite charity to use the funds in a way it deems most beneficial.
