Funds managed by Apollo Global Management will take Outerwall Inc. (Nasdaq: OUTR) private in a deal valued at approximately $1.6 billion including the assumption to debt. Shares of the parent company of Redbox and Coinstar leaped $5.28 to close at $52.19.
