Local residents can now drop off paper, e-media and hard drives for secure destruction as well as, CTR TVs and computer peripherals for recycling.

This AAA NAID-certified plant houses a brand new E-Media shredder and utilizes top-of-the-line equipment to ensure proper destruction of sensitive materials. All destroyed e-materials are recycled in compliance with EPA guidelines, with 100% of shredded paper being recycled. E-media devices eligible for destruction include: desktop/laptop/external hard drives, ZIP/USB drives, SSDs, smartphones, backup tapes and DVD/CDs.

Shred One's Huntingdon Valley Facility adheres to the strictest data privacy laws, including: PCI, HIPAA, GLBA, and FACTA. Staff is expertly screened and trained to adhere to chain of custody standards that guarantee information security and device destruction processes are managed to the highest standards. Hard drive serial numbers are scanned and verified prior to destruction and upon completion customers receive an itemized certificate documenting and verifying material destruction.

Residents are invited to call ahead for a quote or to schedule drop-off services. Pick-up services are also available for commercial and high-volume e-media material destruction upon request.
