U.S. charges ex-Air China manager with smuggling packages for Chinese military

Prosecutors charged a former Air China Ltd. manager Wednesday with smuggling packages out of the U.S. to China on behalf of Chinese military officials stationed at the country’s New York-based mission to the United Nations, the latest turn in a case linked to an alleged U.N. bribery scheme.
