Lawsuit Filed for Family of Man Who Was Trampled to Death by Bull During Mexican Rodeo in Ferris, Texas

The suit states that the man was struck and trampled to death as he was assisting to secure a bull into the bucking chute when the bull got loose from its rope.

DALLAS, TX, September 03, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A lawsuit against the owners and promoters of a Mexican rodeo has been filed by the Turley Law Firm on behalf of the family of a man who died on May 14, 2016.

The suit states that the man was struck and trampled to death as he was assisting to secure a bull into the bucking chute when the bull got loose from its rope.

Turley Law Firm attorney, T Nguyen, who represents the family, said: "There have been many other stories like this one around Texas where someone has been killed or seriously injured because of the lack of safety concern by the owners and promoters at these so-called Mexican rodeos. By our lawsuit, we hope there will be a modification of the way these rodeos operate to prevent other injuries and deaths."
