As the first book written and released by the pair this colorful page-turner focuses on the need for diversity in children's clothing wear through the eyes of a young spunky African American girl, Mia London.
Excited for Pajama Fun Day at her school, Mia London is overjoyed with having the chance to choose a pair of new pajamas with her mother. However, Mia London is quickly confused as to why in all the pajama stores she visits, none of the girl characters pictured on the pajamas look quite like she does. The simple trip Mia London takes with her mother soon turns into a story of self-worth and appreciation among girls of all ages and all nationalities.
Much more than a story for bedtime, Tasha and her son Dean have written the first children's book that will break boundaries of the typical standard of beauty reflected in images on children's clothing. Mia London's Perfectly Perfect Pajamas is a 38-page story that will be available for presale late October 2016 with early notice to those that sign up on the website via email.
