New Bark Ad Agency Hopes Clients Will Give Them a Whistle

Santa Ana, CA - October 18, 2016 - (Newswire.com)

Three of the Southern California advertising community's big dogs have joined to launch their aptly named new advertising agency, Bark. Agency cofounders Chuck Brauer, Scott Montgomery and Paul Christensen bring years of experience working with some of the best known brands in the world.

The firm has already attracted several clients and is looking for more. As Bark's website yelps out to prospective clients, "We like moving needles and working with good people and having fun. When all of those things happen at the same time, we're like a dog with an unlatched gate or a rolled-down car window."

Brauer is a creative-minded strategic marketing professional with the proven ability to build brands and customer loyalty in a wide range of consumer, financial, technology and healthcare markets. He is also adept at developing and executing marketing initiatives that exceed revenue and market share objectives. Prior to cofounding Bark, Brauer held senior management positions at Publicis, Cochrane Chase Livingston/Saatchi and Ayer/LA, directing multifaceted campaigns for global brands the likes of Epson, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Sony, Toshiba, Xerox and Yamaha Music/Audio/Sports.

Cofounder Montgomery has worked at a number of Southern California advertising agencies including his own Salvati Montgomery Sakoda which was purchased by Interpublic in the '90s and eventually became FCB Southern California, where he served as EVP/Executive Creative Director for a number of years. An award-winning creative director/writer, Montgomery's work has appeared in virtually every awards competition in the country, several textbooks and the permanent collection of the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. His experience includes major campaigns for Hilton Hotels, Kawasaki, TaylorMade Golf, Taco Bell, Carl's Jr, Hong Kong Tourism, ASICs, The Irvine Company, Panasonic and Toshiba. As well as a number of pro bono accounts including the U.S. Forest Service, American Lung Association, ChildHelp USA and The Bowers Museum.

Another award winner, art director and creative director Bark cofounder Christensen has honed his craft at some of the West Coast's best agencies, including FCB Southern California, Goldberg Moser O'Neill, O'Leary & Partners and Dahlin Smith White. Christensen's experience ranges from motherboards to motorcycles, on brands like Dell Computer, Hilton/ Doubletree, In-N-Out, Intel, Iomega, Kawasaki, Taylor Made, Toshiba and Western Digital. His work has won a number of prestigious creative awards (including National ADDYs and a Kelly Finalist) and been featured in Communication Arts, Graphis, The ADDY's and Print's Regional Annual among others.
