COSTA MESA, Calif. - Oct. 28, 2016 - PRLog -- At the core of MBK Senior Living (MBK) is a philosophy of giving the company refers to as "Yoi Shigoto" or "the good work." To exemplify this, MBK's Fairview Commons community is partnering with the Council on Aging Southern California's SmileMakers Guild for "MBKares: Celebrate the Good Work," a special event to positively impact seniors in need.

On November 2nd from 2:00 – 4:00 pm the public is invited to stop by Fairview Commons at 2283 Fairview Road in Costa Mesa, California to donate blankets, clothing and stuffed animals to benefit some of the 14,000 older and disabled adults who reside in assisted living situations in Orange County with no family or friends to share the holidays.

"MBK and the Council on Aging share similar values when it comes to providing care and support to seniors," said Monica Castillo, executive director for Fairview Commons. "We're thrilled to partner with them for our MBKares event and celebrate the good work they do daily for local seniors."

In addition to collecting donations, the MBKares event will include festive appetizers and holiday beverages for all guests. For more information about the MBKares: Celebrate the Good Work event, visit the Fairview Commons event page at www.MBKseniorliving.com.
