"I got a job as a teller at a bank and the branch manager liked working with me, so she moved me up very quickly. Very soon after that, I started doing lines of credit and the like until one of my customers, who ran a mortgage company, asked me to come to work there. It was a natural progression."

In 2006, Ms. Ellis founded her own mortgage company, but the financial crisis that soon followed stymied her efforts of expansion, which led her to take a management position with an East Coast retail division. She went on to join Element Funding where she now works to help others realize their dreams of homeownership. Whether dealing with FHA or Refinancing, Ms. Ellis always makes sure to provide the best service possible. Among many others, these services include assistance with moving administration, enhanced interest rate tracking, and trailing-spouse employment.

Above her in-depth expertise, Ms. Ellis' success stems from her committed to building long-lasting relationships with her clients. "I’m watching new construction very closely. There are a lot of subdivisions coming out of the ground so that’s exciting. We try to track every lead that comes into this office because a main source of our business is real estate builders. I also watch the rates to see how they are trending."
