Northwest Physicians Network Names Jesse Gamez Chief Operating Officer

Northwest Physicians Network (NPN), an independent practice association and the largest multi-specialty provider network in Washington, announced the appointment of Jesse Gamez as Chief Operating Officer, effective November 1, 2016.

Mr. Gamez will be responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all internal and external processes to ensure that NPN continues to have the operational systems and administrative and reporting procedures in place to effectively grow the organization and ensure its financial strength and operational efficiency.

According to Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Rick MacCornack, “Jesse brings a stellar senior leadership track record to NPN with over 25 years of operational experience developing and implementing solutions to support care models. He will be a key asset to NPN in fulfilling our mission of helping private practices to thrive while retaining their autonomy.”

Prior to joining NPN Mr. Gamez held senior executive roles during his 18 years with Kaiser Permanente including Director of Operations, Director of Regional Clinical Services and CEO of Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center. Additionally, he served as COO of Presence Health Partners, a 4,000 member Physician Hospital Organization and COO for FamilyCare Inc., a Medicaid/Medicare Advantage health plan in Oregon. Most recently, Mr. Gamez was COO of Performance Health Technology, a Third Party Administrator in Salem, OR.
