GiveGab, the Nonprofit Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Platform, Closes $1.7 Million in Financing

Ithaca, NY - December 6, 2016 - (Newswire.com)

GiveGab, the Ithaca-based online fundraising and supporter engagement platform for nonprofits, recently closed on $1.7 million in financing led by Cayuga Venture Fund with participation from existing investors.  Since 2013, GiveGab has raised a total of $7.1 million of capital from a broad-based set of investors.

Over the past 18 months, GiveGab’s customer base of nonprofits who have fundraised on the platform has grown from less than 100 to more than 2,500 today, with a significant pipeline for 2017.  The company has also seen rapid growth in Giving Days, quickly advancing from 2 annual giving days to more than 50 (and growing). Some of these giving days include ILGive (Illinois), NYGivesDay (New York), OregoniansGive (Oregon), CUNY Tuesday, The Big Give (San Antonio), Idaho Gives, Kentucky Gives, Cornell Giving Day, and many others.

Developed from years of collaboration with thousands of nonprofit partners, GiveGab is designed to help nonprofits build long-term engaged relationships with their supporters, particularly smaller “every day” donors.  With this mission in mind, GiveGab recently launched the much-anticipated Engage Donor CRM providing nonprofits with a truly all-in-one platform for superior online fundraising and optimal supporter engagement.

“Our single biggest priority is to make it super easy for our nonprofit partners to be great at what they do.  This additional financing allows us to continue to hire top-notch employees who are obsessed with helping nonprofits engage with their donors, raise money, and support volunteers,” said Charlie Mulligan, GiveGab’s CEO.

Currently, GiveGab has 17 employees and anticipates growing to roughly 25 in the near term to support the rapid increase in business.

The GiveGab team has continued to expand and enhance its commitment and responsiveness to customers every day through its excellent customer service and an unparalleled technology platform designed specifically to help nonprofits become more efficient,” said Jennifer Tegan, Partner at Cayuga Venture Fund and GiveGab board member.  “It is exceptionally gratifying to see the company’s customers recognize that dedication with their business, referrals, and positive feedback. We are happy to continue to support the company and the important work that they are doing.”
