Illumina Names New CFO, Stock Tumbles

Illuminia ( ILMN ) is lower Wednesday, after announcing that it’s hired a new CFO. The gene sequencing company named Cardinal Health ( CAH ) alum Sam Samad to be its new chief financial officer, effective January 6. The move is part of Illumina’s leadership transition, which has five major executive roles in need of filling.
