New Jersey American Water Investing $2.7 Million in Burlington and Camden Counties

This month, New Jersey American Water is investing over $2.7 million for new water mains throughout Burlington and Camden Counties. The work will be completed by December 31, in Cherry Hill, Lawnside, Oaklyn, Palmyra, Riverton and Westampton. The 14,000 feet of new pipe replaces water main that was installed as far back as the early 1900s. The aging water lines will be replaced with ductile iron pipes.

New Jersey American Water crews will be working along the following streets:

Cherry Hill:

• Tarrington Court, from Tarrington Road to the end of the roadway

Lawnside:

• Warwick Road, from Douglas Avenue to Mouldy Road
• Mouldy Road, from Warwick Road to Hillard T Moore Sr. Avenue
• East Emlen Avenue, from Warwick Road to the end of the roadway
• West Phoenix Avenue, from Warwick Road to Watkins Avenue
• Brown Street, from Warwick Road to Tillman Street

Oaklyn:

• Newton Avenue, from Lakeview Drive to end of roadway

Palmyra:

• Horace Avenue, from West Fifth Street to Temple Boulevard
• Leconey Avenue, from East 5th Street to West 2nd Street
• Berkley Avenue, from Temple Boulevard to West 4th Street
• West Second Street, from Delaware Avenue to Horace Avenue
• West Third Street, from Berkley Avenue to Horace Avenue
• West Fourth Street, from Leconey Avenue to Horace Avenue

Riverton:

• Tenth Street, from Main Street (CR-603) to Cedar Street

Westampton:

• Pennington Avenue, from Bloomfield Drive to Bloomfield Drive
• Patterson Drive, from Holly Lane to Pennington Drive
• Holly Lane, from Bloomfield Drive to Pennington Drive
• Devonshire Drive, from Tarnsfield Road to Dublin Drive
