This week the Dow Jones Industrial Average did something it hasn’t done in 10 years — it has stayed within a 1% trading band for 53 sessions in a row. While this has sparked some concerns that the stock market is running out of energy, the absence of wide swings do not necessarily augur the demise of the record-setting rally of the past few months.
