NEW YORK, NY – 13 Mar, 2017 –

The Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs) is dedicated to celebrating success, best practice and outstanding contribution to global mobility. The awards celebrate the best and brightest of the global mobility industry and the supporting suppliers and vendors. The 8th Americas EMMAs results will be announced in Denver, CO on the May 4, 2017 at the Marriott City Center.

On Thursday March 9, 2017, IKG Global Consultants received word they are one of the shortlist nominee for the EMMAs Thought Leadership – Best Survey or Research Study of the Year category.  Iram Ganju, President at IKG Global Consultants was extremely proud that the work that she and her partner Karen Booker of the BeBe Group has done this past year on the Duty of Care and cross border preparedness solutions.  It is honored to be nominated and recognized by this prestigious organization.

This past October 26, 2016 at the Broadway Millennium Hotel, IKG Global held the first North American-NYC Duty of Care Day/Conference. It was well attended by approximately 100 global company’s executives.  The conference agenda covered myriad of concerns affecting global companies’ Duty of Care policies, legal ramifications and liabilities.  Our expert speakers varied from major international corporations in the areas of corporate travel, law, health, safety, security and human resource.  The case studies presented were real life experiences that the audience fully resonated with, given the recent conflicts that are becoming headlines of horror around the globe on a regular basis.   Clearly, global corporate traveling has changed greatly in the past sixteen years, and is not as safe as it used to be.  Therefore, today’s business and leisure travelers must be organized and ready for cross-border preparedness planning.

IKG Global Consultants, in January announced the immediate availability of Cross-Border Preparedness Consulting Services, (CBPCS) for global-minded organizations to build robust emergency preparedness plans, covering the many aspects of Duty of Care issues under one platform. “Keeping your workforce safe on overseas assignments or cross border business related travel has to be a prime responsibility for global organizations.  The duty to inform and prepare is the message of the day,” said Iram.

Iram and Karen are looking forward to meeting their fellow other Thought Leadership nominees BGRS, Cartus Corporation, Greenback Expat Tax Services, International AutoSource, and International SOS in Denver in May.
