Cenovus Energy Inc. (NYSE: CVE) will acquire ConocoPhillips' (NYSE: COP) 50% stake in an oil sands partnership in Canada for approximately $13.3 billion. Shares of Cenovus Energy tumbled $1.79 to close at $11.29 while ConocoPhillips stock soared $4.05 to close at $50.00.
