Heartland Advisors Founder Bill Nasgovitz Inducted into Wisconsin Business Hall of Fame by Junior Achievement of Wisconsin

JA commended this year's inductees for having "positively shaped Wisconsin's business climate through their innovative thinking and leadership"

MILWAUKEE, WI, May 02, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Heartland Advisors, Inc. founder Bill Nasgovitz was inducted into the Wisconsin Business Hall of Fame at an event May 1 sponsored by Junior Achievement of Wisconsin. Also recognized at the ceremony were fellow 2017 inductees Agustin Ramirez, of HUSCO International, and Art, Bill & Ray Schmidt, of U.S. Venture, Inc.

JA commended this year's inductees for having "positively shaped Wisconsin's business climate through their innovative thinking and leadership." When presenting the award, JA noted Nasgovitz's contributions to the investing industry and the mark he's left on Wisconsin business.

In 1983, Nasgovitz founded Heartland Advisors and launched the firm's first mutual fund, the Heartland Value Fund, one of the longest running small-cap value funds in the country. Over the decades, Heartland has served investors throughout Wisconsin and the country through a disciplined approach to value investing.
