Splatter and food waste can quickly build up in the microwave, and once again this provides the perfect environment for mold and bacteria to breed. Clean your microwave frequently using a bowl of water and some lemon wedges. Place the lemon wedges in the water and then heat for about a minute in the microwave. After a minute, wipe all of the surfaces clean.
