NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA – 23 May, 2017 – Darlene Winston has been selected as Top GM of the Year for 2017 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).
While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations and contributions to their communities. All honorees are invited to attend the IAOTP’s annual award gala at the end of this year for a night to honor their achievements.
With almost 2 decades of professional experience in the Global Transformation and Change Management industry, Darlene has certainly proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field. As a dynamic, results-driven leader, she has demonstrated success not only with Testra SNP Monitoring, but has also managed large scale, complex programs across Asia Pacific and Europe providing exceptional insights into how to drive global transformation programs. Darlene’s impressive repertoire of past roles include Senior Manager for IAG, Project Manager for Sydney Airport and SNP Aviation Security, Lecturer Masters International Human Resources for UTS, HR Director for Rentokil Initial, and many others.
With her diverse background and experience, Darlene has been able to work alongside Managing Directors, CEOS and Executive Leadership Teams to help grow their profitability, increase safety, increased their customer loyalty and retention and helped in building and enhancing their brand. Her key responsibilities for People and Partner Strategy at SNP is to oversee the transformation of culture through leadership teams, driving sales and commercial benefits through alignment of strategic direction and building business plans across all disciplines especially with employees, sales, marketing, innovation and safety.

Darlene is a four-time graduate of Charles Sturt University where she earned her Master’s Degree in Human Resources and a postgraduate degree in Commerce, E-Commerce and organization communications. She also holds an honorary diploma in Management from the Frontline Management Institute and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from UTS.
Darlene remains active in her community and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. In 2014 she was honored for her accomplishments in Cultural Transformation by Worldwide Branding. In 2015 named Top Female Professional of the Year and in 2017 selected as Top GM of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals. She is a mentor with PropellHer, a female mentoring organization for females in banking and finance. She serves on the advisory board of the iLead Talent Exchange and belongs to the Australian Institute of Management and Australian Company Directors. Darlene also provides support for the Smith Family Challenge which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing learning to underprivileged children in school.
Looking back, Darlene attributes her success to her training, her perseverance, mentors she has had along the way, and her passion for seeing business professionals succeed and reach their goals. For the future, she will continue to grow as a professional and continue to help businesses and professionals any way she can.
