The Expert Network© celebrates its newest member, REALTOR® Cynthia M. Ruggiero

Chester, NJ - May 24, 2017 - (Newswire.com)

Cynthia M. Ruggiero, REALTOR®, RE/MAX Heritage Properties, has joined The Expert Network©, an invitation-only service for distinguished professionals. Ms. Ruggiero has been chosen as a Distinguished Real Estate Professional™ based on peer reviews and ratings, dozens of recognitions, and accomplishments achieved throughout her career.

Ms. Ruggiero outshines others in her field due to her extensive education and professional experience, numerous awards and recognitions, certifications, and outstanding customer service. She earned her bachelor of science from Ithaca College in 1978. Thirteen years later she officially made the decision to focus exclusively on real estate. She joined RE/Max Heritage Properties in 2000, after ten years of experience in the industry, and has been with the company, serving northwest New Jersey, for the majority of her real estate career. Among numerous other honors, Ms. Ruggiero has been named a Five Star Professional (2012-2017) and the #1 AGENT for Long Valley, Washington Twp by Garden State Multiple Listing Service (GSMLS) for 2015 and 2016. She has also been named to the Circle of Excellence Platinum by the New Jersey Association REALTORS® (2014-2015) as well as the Chairman’s Club by RE/MAX (2015).

With over 25 years dedicated to real estate, Ms. Ruggiero brings a wealth of knowledge to her industry and, in particular, to her area of expertise, the residential real estate market of the Morris County, New Jersey. When asked why she decided to pursue a career in real estate, Ms. Ruggiero said:

"I studied physical education in college, but running my own business had been instilled in me since I was young. Real estate seemed like a good way to be able to act on that pull toward entrepreneurship."

As a thought-leader in her field, Ms. Ruggiero keeps herself abreast of prevailing trends within her real estate market. In particular, she notes that many people these days would rather have a smaller home and be able to spend their money on other things such as going out to dinner, going down the shore, going skiing, or just generally being more social outside of the home:

"The trend is that people are moving closer to the train line, because the larger homes have extremely high property taxes in New Jersey. That’s the biggest difference in our area. The largest homes, say, in North Carolina may be paying $2,800 in taxes for a five-bedroom, while here for the same home, we're probably paying close to $28,000. People are not willing to go up to those prices and would rather spend it on other things."

Ms. Ruggiero is a member of the North Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NJAR) and serves on the Board of Education for the West Morris Regional School District. She also volunteers with the Long Valley Food Pantry.
