UDR Prices $300 Million of Senior Unsecured Notes Due 2027

UDR, Inc. (the “Company”) (NYSE:UDR) announced today that it has priced a $300 million offering of 3.500% senior unsecured notes under its existing shelf registration statement. Interest is payable semiannually on January 1 and July 1 with the first interest payment due January 1, 2018. The notes will mature on July 1, 2027. The notes were priced at 99.764% of the principal amount plus accrued interest from June 16, 2017 to yield 3.528% to maturity.

The notes are fully and unconditionally guaranteed by United Dominion Realty, L.P.

The Company expects to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including the repayment of outstanding indebtedness. The settlement of the offering is expected to occur on June 16, 2017, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

Citigroup, J.P. Morgan and Wells Fargo Securities are the joint book-running managers for the offering. BB&T Capital Markets, PNC Capital Markets LLC, Regions Securities LLC, TD Securities and US Bancorp are the co-managers for the offering.
