LOS ANGELES, CA – 17 Jun, 2017 – Chiropractor Dr. Steven Moon is sponsoring a Cancer Research Fundraiser to take place on Saturday June 17 from 8 AM to 4 PM. This event will include free chiropractic adjustments, food and a raffle. Proceeds will benefit the Stanford Cancer Discovery Fund.
Dr. Steven Moon has served Clayton Valley in the medical field for over 45 years, first as a radiologic technologist and then for 35 years as a chiropractor. He was inspired to pursue alternative medicine as a career by the experience of seeing his father, a roofing contractor, get relief from chronic back pain as a result of a chiropractic adjustment. He was further motivated in this pursuit by observing the debilitating pain of many patients in his career as an X-ray technician.
Presently Dr. Moon provides services at Concord Chiropractic where his goal is to treat and help the whole person. He has successfully treated a wide range of conditions and injuries, including those resulting from automobile accidents, home injuries and chronic degenerative conditions. His practice has often provided relief to patients who had tried everything else. Besides treating symptoms, they also treat the cause so that the symptoms will not return. This past April, Dr. Moon lost his father to cancer. This loss, in addition to other friends and family members whose lives have been claimed by this disease, have inspired Dr. Moon to support cancer research through this fundraiser. “Cancer has to go” says Dr. Moon.
