​​​Pool & Spa News (PSN) released their 15th annual Top 50 Pool Builders list and for the 4th year in a row Premier Pools & Spas locations have secured at least three of those spots.

In the beginning the Pool & Spa News Top 50 Builders list was determined by residential construction revenue alone. In 2012 the judging criteria was expanded to include community service, industry involvement, staff training, web presence, and professional references. After placing 1st on the Top 50 Pool builders list in 2012 (with twice the revenue of the competition), Pool & Spa News updated the ranking method and began to score each franchise individually. Since then, the largest franchise locations, Sacramento, Houston and Dallas, have each made the Top 50 Builders list 4 times. To date, Premier Pools and Spas has made the top 50 list seventeen times — more than any other builder in America.
