River District update provides details on proposed public investment, potential sports complex

Members of Charlotte's economic development committee met Thursday afternoon to continue the conversation about the River District's infrastructure reimbursement plan and how much private developers will invest in phase one. Council member LaWana Mayfield, who represents west Charlotte, said there's a conversation occurring about a potential sports complex at River District.
