Intel stock flounders, Nvidia soars in 'tectonic shift' to AI

Shareholders in Santa Clara-based chip giant Intel Corp. have seen little to like this year. This week, investors pushed the stock down to its 52-week low, after Jefferies analyst Mark Lipacis said the company was ill-equipped to handle the “tectonic shift” occurring in the market.
